Keto recipe for milk shake – chocolate peanut butter

Written by admin

Delicious keto milk shake with the decadent combination of peanut butter and chocolate. This is a creamy drink that does not contain dairy products and is low in carbohydrates.

This chocolate milkshake with peanut butter breaks easily in less than a minute, so it can be ready any time you want a little sweet treat. It is also sugar-free and gluten-free, which means it can be used without guilt!

There are many great low-carb recipes for smoothies and protein powder drinks, but sometimes you don’t want a smoothie or a healthy shake – you want the tempting flavors of chocolate syrup and ice cream.

But you also want your keto chocolate shake to be sugar-free, nourishing your body and completely satisfying, which means you won’t have an unpleasant bloating or hangover later.

And that’s so great in the keto diet; you can take your cake and eat it! Or in this case, drink your milkshake and drink it.

Ingredients in chocolate peanut butter keto shake

So what do you need to make this delightful shake?

Unsweetened coconut milk

You may be wondering why coconut milk? After all, isn’t almond milk keto? Well, you can use both. If you don’t have coconut milk, go straight and replace it with almond milk or even hemp milk.

However, coconut milk is a little more creamy, so it has more of that classic milkshake texture you’re looking for. You don’t have to use coconut cream here … although you certainly could if you’re aiming for an even thicker shake.

Unsweetened cocoa powder

Not all cocoa powder contains sugar, so just check your labels. Here you can use plain or dark cocoa powder, depending on your taste preferences.

Unsweetened peanut butter powder (or unsweetened peanut butter)

There are all kinds of nuts, powders and low carb powders that you can use when making a keto smoothie recipe.

But it’s not just embarrassing; it’s decadent, creamy, chocolate and peanut butter … it’s healthy enough for your low-carb breakfast and delicious enough for dessert.

For the first time I tried to make this chocolate milk shake with peanut butter with both peanut butter powder and plain peanut butter. However, the powder is much easier to mix, so I like to use it.

Be careful with PB2 peanut butter powder because it contains sugar.

Instead, use pure peanut butter powder, which contains only peanuts without added sweeteners or fillers. Peanut flour would also work, as it is just powdered peanuts with little fat removed.

Sticking to the real deal here is part of what makes this keto milk shake so fragrant. But you can replace it with other nut oils if you are allergic to peanuts and still like that mixture of chocolate nuts!

Never be afraid to make a recipe work for you.

SweetLeaf stevia drops

You can use any low carb sweetener you prefer, but in this recipe I personally prefer the taste of SweetLeaf stevia drops.

Sea salt

Many people take a look at salt or skip it on purpose because they think a little pinch is unnecessary.

However, this really does matter … especially in recipes with low-carb sweeteners and / or chocolate.

This small pinch of salt reduces any aftertaste you may notice from stevia and sugar alcohols. It also gives chocolate a greater depth of taste. So don’t miss a pinch of sea salt in this keto shake!
